The Townsville Game Fishing Club (T.G.F.C.) was first established in the mid 70’s and reformed in 1979 with Calvin Tilley as the president.
The T.G.F.C.
actively promotes and supports Tag & Release.
The Objectives of the T.G.F.C.are as follows:• To promote and encourage the art of fishing.• To organize and supervise game fishing tournaments or suitable occasions throughout the year.• To accumulate data and keep records in connection with fish and fishing.• To promote and encourage conservation of fish and marine life.
